A poco más de 40 años de actividades, el foro se mantiene como un referente en temas de iluminación exterior y alumbrado público.

Del 10 al 13 de octubre se realizará en la ciudad de Dallas la Street and Area Lighting Conference, un espacio donde profesionales del sector eléctrico, de iluminación, servicios públicos, entre otros podrán atender conferencias, charlas y talleres sobre los temas más actuales en iluminación de exteriores, incluyendo nuevos productos especializados, controles de iluminación, así como casos de éxito en distintas partes del mundo.

Entre los temas a tratar en esta edición se encuentran desde los fundamentos básicos de la iluminación exterior, aplicaciones y diseño pasando por diversas alternativas más ecológicas como es el uso de energía solar en combinación con sistemas de control; la importancia de conocer las leyes y normativas y de igual modo, la cada vez más relevante necesidad de diseñar proyectos de iluminación con un enfoque responsable para evitar la contaminación lumínica.
